
About Nicholas Pittler
Nicholas Pittler is a seasoned aviation executive, most recently serving as Vice President of Investment & Fleet Solutions at Willis Lease Finance Corporation, based in San Francisco. With a career spanning over three decades, he has developed deep expertise in aircraft leasing, maintenance, and technical operations.
Nicholas began his aviation journey at United Airlines in 1988, where he held various roles including engineer, mechanic, planning and maintenance supervisor/manager, and electrician. In 2001, he joined International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC) as a Technical Manager. In 2004, he became President of Daedalus Aviation Corp., a role he held until 2011. From 2010 to 2014, he returned to ILFC as Vice President of MROs and Business Development. In 2014, he joined AerCap as Vice President of Technical Services, before assuming his role at Willis Lease Finance Corporation in 2015.
Nicholas holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from San Francisco State University and a Juris Doctor (JD) from Lincoln University.
Beyond his professional achievements, Nicholas is a dedicated family man. His children have all pursued athletics at the collegiate level: his son, Devin, was a defender on the men's soccer team at Dominican University of California; his daughter, Elyse, was a member of the women's rowing team at the University of California, Berkeley; her twin sister, Paige, rowed at Washington State University; and the youngest, Ava Rose, was a four-year varsity starter at Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory.
